Mattox and his sons, Tariq and Rakim, the company started as a small art print business, Art By Mattox, in Atlanta, GA. Fueled by passion and hard work, the company quickly gained recognition, becoming one of the fastest-growing urban art print businesses in Atlanta and throughout the southern states.
As the brand flourished, T. D. Mattox expanded his vision, taking the T. D. Mattox Art brand to new heights in New York. There, he partnered with Taisia Lumsden, his COO, to further innovate and diversify their offerings. Together, they embarked on a mission to blend Taisia’s photography with Mattox’s signature pencil art prints, creating a unique fusion of visual storytelling that captivated audiences.
